Why littering around the college needs to stop

How can we help to stop littering around the college? Next to the college there is a big grass area where many students go to eat their lunch, unfortunately when lunch is over, that area is often covered in people's litter. This is a public place where people take their children to play at the park, the amount of litter can be harmful as children tend to pick things up and even put it in their mouth. Another issue this could cause is harming animals and wildlife, the field is popular for dog walkers and is located next to a forest filled with wildlife, animals could easily choke on pieces of litter. The field only has one bin which is not enough for an area that has a lot of college students eating their lunch there everyday and those students need somewhere to put their rubbish. Another bin would be very beneficial in decreasing the large amount of litter, one reason being that a lot of the time the bin is overflowing, giving people nowhere to dispose of their rubbish, another reason is that people can be lazy, this is not an excuse for littering but if people have a bin closer to them they are more likely to throw away their rubbish. Something else that is used in other places is having someone standing at the park while it's busy, with a bin bag to encourage people to throw away their litter. In conclusion I think that there are multiple things that could be done to prevent the littering around college.
